A former Manchester United player has had his season ticket at Old Trafford reallocated despite having it for almost 30 years.
Gordon Hill made over 100 appearances for the Red Devils in a spell between 1975 and 1978, winning the FA Cup in 1977.
The 69-year-old has been a season ticket holder for 28 years meaning there is a silver plaque with his name on his seat.
However, his seat is set to be reallocated next season as United restructure the hospitality at Old Trafford to accommodate players' families.
Hill slammed the decision as 'ridiculous' and vowed to discuss the issue with new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
'Looks like I will not be taking my season tickets after having them from 1996, and being told you will be relocated I can not believe this from a club I represented and played my heart out for,' Hill posted on X.
'I was given a reason which was bloody ridiculous I will be speaking to Jim. Not happy.'
He went on to add: 'Just to follow up on this decision. I used these for family who are United followers, wow the reason was to allow for Academy and the women's players. hold on did I not deserve my seats. The people who make decisions have lost me now.'
Hill isn't the first former player to have had his seat reallocated after Norman Whiteside recently fell victim to the same treatment according to the Mirror.
Whiteside's wife took to social media to display her anger as she claimed the decision was made by United as they want to expand executive seats.
She wrote: 'So, it doesn't matter how long you've been a loyal supporter, doesn't matter if you played for your club, @ManUtd can just dump you from your seat when they feel like it, so they can expand exec seating! Absolute disgrace!
'I'd like to make clear that this post is not just about Norman. There are a whole block of loyal supporters who expressed their views to me at the West Ham game, but they feel as if they have no voice or platform to voice their anger.'

why do the big clubs still do season tickets? it's not like they need the money and it just prevents other fans from getting a ticket?
