Today is Hugo Lloris' 33rd birthday, the French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper and is the captain of both Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the France national team. He is a three-time winner of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award.
On 5 October, Lloris was carried off on a stretcher after suffering a dislocated elbow against Brighton, a match which ended in 3-0 defeat for Spurs. Ligament damage sustained in the injury would rule him out the team for a few months. In November 2019 he underwent surgery for the dislocation.
He is still under-recovery. Let's hope he gets well soon!
