Manchester United players to return to Carrington on July 9 for pre-season

Official news: Manchester United players will return to Carrington training base on July 9 to begin pre-season preparations.

Following the 2024-25 season, the Manchester United squad split into two groups. Players selected for the 2026 World Cup reported to their respective national teams immediately after the season ended.

Players not involved in international duty have been given well-deserved rest but must continue with individual training plans set by the coaching staff.

Manchester United has officially confirmed that players will return to Carrington training base on July 9 to begin preparations for the new season.

In line with standard practice during tournament summers, the initial training squad will comprise first-team players and promising academy prospects.

As international players gradually return throughout July and early August, the squad will become progressively stronger and more complete.
