Mourinho was a gust of fresh air who swept through the English top flight, delivering Chelsea's first title win in 50 years on this day 15 years ago.
Petr Cech, Didier Drogba, Ricardo Carvalho Joe Cole, Claude Makelele and Arjen Robben - to name half of the summer additions - all played a huge part in the crushing title win.
And it was a procession in the end. Chelsea won 29 of their 38 Premier League games - losing just once - and incredibly conceding just 15 goals.

Technically yes and no. In name we won the premier league that Liverpool has yet to win. But in principle we won the first division title in the 50s around 1950-60 times if memory serves well.

Chelsea's dominance that time was irritating me to no end. Many fans idolized Drogba who I in actuality didn't like back then.
