Barca finally eliminated the Gunners in that campaign, beating Arsenal 3-1 at Camp Nou with Messi's brace of goals. They then defeated Shakhtar Donetsk (6-1), Real Madrid (3-1) and Man Utd (3-1) and claimed the trophy.
