On this day in 2016, Anfield witnessed that amazing win over Dortmund with Lovren's winner
A Europa League quarter-final tie may not have the immediate resonance of some of the Reds' more celebrated European triumphs, but their comeback against a much-vaunted Dortmund side on April 14 2016 was one of the most thrilling evenings in a generation.
The Reds headed into the game against Klopp's former side, with the tie finely poised from their 1-1 draw at Westfalenstadion in the first leg.
However, BVB started the brighter and raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to current Arsenal duo Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang.
The Reds' prospects of a revival appeared slim at the break, before Origi gave them a shot in the arm three minutes into the second half.
Klopp's men were dealt another blow though when Reus slotted home shortly before the hour mark.
Liverpool needed three, with just over half an hour to play.
Coutinho conjured up a moment of magic, as he so often did, before Sakho gave them real hope on 77 minutes.
It was left to Sakho's centre-back partner Lovren to produce the all-important fourth as he converted James Milner's cross at the back post in stoppage time to complete the turn around.
On this day in 1999, Giggs scored one of the FA Cup's all-time great goals as Man Utd beat Arsenal on their way to the treble
It is 20 years to the day since Ryan Giggs scored a magical solo goal in an FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal at Villa Park in 1999.
Arsenal and Manchester United could not be separated when they met in the 1999 semi-final at Villa Park on 11 April as the Premier League's then top two played out a goalless draw.
This browser does not support the video element.
But three days later the last-ever FA Cup semi-final replay would go down in history as a night of high drama.
Goals from David Beckham and Dennis Bergkamp either side of half-time had left the tie poised at 1-1.
Enter Ryan Giggs with 11 minutes remaining in extra time.
On this day in 1999, Arsenal youngster Guendouzi was born
Guendouzi started his career at the academy of Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 6. He left Paris to join Lorient's academy in 2014. After representing the Lorient B side, he was promoted to the first team in 2016.
On 11 July 2018, during the summer transfer window, it was announced that Guendouzi had joined Premier League team Arsenal for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £7m plus bonuses.
Guendouzi scored the first professional goal of his career on 4 October, rounding off the scoring in Arsenal's 3-0 away win over Qarabağ FK, a low drive from just inside the penalty area, following an assist from Alexandre Lacazette.
On this day in 2018, Man City on the brink of winning league title after beating Tottenham 3-1
It was a morale-boosting win for City after the disappointment of Tuesday's defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Jesus had put City ahead in the 22nd minute, racing onto Kompany's long ball and sliding a low shot past Lloris.
Just three minutes later, the France goalkeeper conceded a penalty, with a studs up sliding challenge on Sterling, although replays suggested it occurred outside of the box. Gundogan converted from the spot to double City's lead.
Against the run of play Christian Eriksen halved the deficit.
After the break City withstood a period of sustained pressure from Spurs, before Sterling hammered in the rebound from Jesus' shot to secure all three points in the 72nd minute.

On this day in 1999, United faced Arsenal in one of the most entertaining semi-finals in the history of the FA Cup.... David Beckham put United in the lead through a brilliant kid but Dennis Bergkamp equalised before half-time.... At the second half, it seemed it was going to go to extra time but Neville gave a penalty away and it was Bergkamp vs Schmeichel, United fans were praying for Schmeichel already and Arsenal fans were celebrating jubilantly...... He kept his cool, Dennis Bergkamp, and he shot the penalty only to see Schmeichel dive the right way and save it and United fans heaved a huge sigh of relief and Neville thanked Schmeichel for saving his skin from criticism while Arsenal fans got mad It seemed now that it would really have moved to extra time but a good counter attack via a Ryan Giggs solo dribble saw United's hopes high.... Pass 1! Pass 2! Pass 3! Ryan Giggs dribbling past those players as if they never had families and BOOM!!! GIGGS HAS DONE IT!!!!!! Kept his cool and shot giving United a last grasp winner and took of his shirt to celebrate what would be one of his best goals in his career....

14 April 1912, a group of footballers in the Brazilian city of Santos, located in the state of São Paolo, founded a new football club which they named Santos FC. The club credits their formation to three men in particular - Raimundo Marques, Mário Ferraz de Campos, and Argemiro de Souza Júnior. But they are best known as the 17-year home of Pelé. Santos enjoyed some modest early success, winning a handful of regional competitions starting with the Santos City Championship in 1913 and 1915, but they reached their highest heights only after the arrival of the then 15-year old Pelé in 1956. Within a few short years, Santos were established as a national power, winning five consecutive Brazilian Cups from 1961 through 1965. During that period, they also twice won South America's Copa Libertadores (1962 and 1963). After Pelé's departure in 1974 for the New York Cosmos, Santos went into decline. They enjoyed a resurgence in the early 2000s, however, winning the Brazilian top flight in 2002 and 2004 with help from their skillful young forward Robinho. Robinho left in 2005 for Real Madrid, triggering another dip in Santos' fortunes. They finished mid-table in 2009, finishing 12th out of 20 teams, but will enter the 2010 season next month with renewed optimism, having signed Robinho back on loan from Manchester City, whom he joined in 2008.

On 14 April 1917, Celtic beat Hibernian in Edinburgh by the score of 0-1. The win put a bookend on Celtic's record streak of 62 unbeaten league matches, a streak that started the previous season with a 2-0 home win over Kilmarnock on 20 November 1915. The streak was a small part of Celtic's overall dominance of the Scottish league of the period, which saw them them win four consecutive league titles from 1915-1918 under manager Willie Maley. Maley was one of the first players signed by Celtic in their inaugural season in 1888 and became their first manager in 1897. He retired in 1940, making him Celtic's longest-serving manager. In those 43 years, Maley helmed Celtic to 30 major trophies, including 16 league titles. Coincidentally, the team at the front end of Celtic's unbeaten streak - Kilmarnock - ended it on 21 April 1917, beating the Hoops in Glasgow by the score of 0-2.

This was the best comebacks I had seen(Istanbul being the best). Liverpool win that night in a fashion I would never forget. Unlike the famous Barca game, this one was not a blessing of ref and neither it had presence of mega stars like Messi or Neymar but the spirit of Anfield and the fans were the driving reason. I literally screamed so loudly at that moment when Lovren scores that I can't explain. The only reason why this one did not get much popularity was because of it being in UEL but nevertheless it was an amazing game. [Cheer]
