Partick Thistle have unveiled a new special edition kit inspired their iconic mascot Kingsley ahead of the 2022/23 season.
There has been plenty of rumours over the Scottish's clubs new home jersey that was supposedly leaked, but it turns out that the leak was just a hoax in the end.
Instead, the unique jersey that features Kingsley, will now feature prominently on a special-edition jersey.
The Firhill side have confirmed that Kingsley will feature on a special edition top on social media, rather than their home kit for the upcoming season.
A tweet from the club reads: 'It's OFFICIAL! Our friends@GreavesSports and @ONeills1918 will produce a run of Kingsley kits, including children's sizes, for sale later this year.
'The skipper @RossDocherty1 loves wearing his - you'll be able to purchase yours soon. Watch this space!'
The bold new-look combines classic red and yellow stripes on the front at first glance.
However, a look underneath the chest sponsor reveals that club mascot Kingsley takes over the entire bottom half of the jersey.
This creates a truly unique jersey unlike anything ever created before, and it is a beautiful homage to the club's mascot at the same time.
Fans and football fanatics have taken to social media insisting the new-kit is a brilliant idea after the official launch.
One fan tweeted: 'This is absolutely tremendous! This should have been the full time kit, but having it see a release is great news!
Another said: 'Genuinely awesome. Will you ship to the Netherlands?
A third simply posted: 'When will this - the best kits ever designed - be available? And will shipping to Germany be offered?
Another added: 'Guaranteed cult kit and collectors item of the future.'
