Miralem Pjanic claims Juventus’ Supercoppa success ‘clears up any doubts over whether the champions of Italy were better than the Coppa Italia winners.’
Pjanic helped Juve beat Milan 1-0 in Jeddah on Wednesday, and the midfielder could not resist taking a dig at his side’s opponents, given the Rossoneri only qualified through losing to the Old Lady in last season’s Coppa Italia Final.
“This Final clears up any doubts over whether the champions of Italy were better than the Coppa Italia winners,” he wrote on Instagram.
However, the midfielder’s yellow card means he will miss the Bianconeri’s next match against Chievo on Monday.
