Even if Germany disappoints yet again versus France, dismissing coach Jogi Löw is not an option, because the DFB has no options.
Sport1’s Florian Plettenberg, the network’s chief reporter for Bayern Munich and the German national team, has reported that the DFB will not dismiss head coach Joachim Löw even if Germany suffers another humiliating defeat at the hands of France on Tuesday. Plettenberg tweeted:

According to Sport1 info, Löw will be allowed to continue even with a disaster against France. His dismissal is not up for debate. The reason: the DFB simply has no Plan B up its sleeve, doesn’t want chaos. Internally, they are more surprised about the catastrophic form of individual players.
That revelation puts DFB President Reinhard Grindel’s initial statement, calling for solidarity, in a new light. After the defeat in Amsterdam, Grindel indirectly supported Löw, stating,
It was clear to all of us that our team’s journey after the World Cup can also bring setbacks with it. It is all the more important now to stand together on and off the pitch as a team.
It is a false solidarity, however, when the purpose of the call serves rather to deflect from an abject failure to hold leadership accountable, including Grindel himself.

Speaking from a neutral☮ perspective, these days the great divide in the German camp is ever apparent. The debacle started just prior to WC🏆2018. When Özil was caught up in a turmoil which he may be manipulated by Erdogan to champion his political cause is anybody's guess. One thing is for sure, Özil may seem oblivious but the lad's Innocent. Before the WC started, DFB should have dealt with the situation instead of aftermath, what more catastrophic elimination from group stage. Therefore Özil felt singled out when Grindel questioned his loyalty publicly. How was Özil supposed to react when he is victimised and cornered like that. His reaction was viewed as ungrateful, irresponsible and un-nationalistic. Özil, if you understand him by nature is not a vocal person and that led him to quit the national team altogether. In my opinion, Löw should have been there for him. Decisions should have been made if Özil was ready for the WC as his game was sloppy and distracted by the agenda leading to the WC. Grindel's approach was even more questionable. Uncouth, disrespectful, distasteful, disgraced and lacking of depth of a DFB President. Doubting the hierarchy, the board should have sensed his hostility and removed him before the situation reared its ugly head. Löw should take equal step by not addressing the necessary. Next to be shown the door is Bierhoff, lack in public relations. If DFB envision a turn around, a ln overhaul would do whole lot of good. New breath of management and players will pave way for a complete revival.
