Tottenham were confirmed as 2018 International Champions Cup winners on Saturday night.
Spurs, who beat Roma 4-1 and AC Milan 1-0 either side of a penalty-shootout defeat by Barcelona last month, were crowned champions after Inter overcame Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the final match of the 18-team pre-season mega tournament.
Inter went into Saturday's game needing to win by four goals in order to leapfrog Spurs into first place, but ultimately had to settle for third spot in the table behind Borussia Dortmund on goal difference.
All 18 teams involved played three games, with three points awarded for a win in 90 minutes, two for a victory via penalties and one for losing a shootout.
Arsenal and Liverpool ended fourth and fifth respectively, with Chelsea and Manchester United eighth and ninth. City ended up 14th, while Barcelona were rock bottom.
The tournament's official Twitter account tweeted out a message of congratulations for Spurs.
It read: 'What a tournament it has been! Congratulations, @SpursOfficial, you are this year's International Champions Cup winners!
'Well done to all the teams involved. It's been a blast. See you in 2019!#
This was the sixth edition of the International Champions Cup, with Barcelona, PSG (twice), Manchester United and Real Madrid the former winners.
Tottenham will hope to follow up their triumph with a major trophy this season, which began on Saturday with a 2-1 win at Newcastle in the Premier League.
Their last major success was a League Cup victory in 2008.
