Tottenham's players were given a bit of added inspiration in their Champions League final preparations as footballing icon David Beckham paid a visit to the team's training session on Wednesday.
Spurs are gearing up for the biggest game in the club's history when they take on Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid next Saturday.
And the likes of Maurico Pochettino and Harry Kane looked pleased to have one of the game's biggest stars present during the session at their Enfield training complex.
Beckham, too, was grateful for the experience, taking to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Pochettino.
'Great to spend the morning with Mauricio today,' he wrote alongside the snap.
'Thank you for welcoming me and showing me around the amazing training complex... What a gentleman @spursofficial.'
A former Manchester United player, Beckham will no doubt be hoping Tottenham prevent his old team's arch-rivals Liverpool from lifting Europe's biggest prize for a sixth time.
Spurs have overcome all the odds to reach their first Champions League final, seemingly down and out multiple times throughout this year's competition.
And English midfielder Harry Winks believes their incredible run epitomises the squad's belief.
'We'd been written off, one point in three games, we were basically told "you can't qualify from there" but as a squad, we never gave up, we didn't quit,' he told the club's website.
'That's made this run even more special, the fact that we've come from so much adversity, come from behind in games and yet we've got to the final through sheer hard work, belief, quality of course and determination.'
'Honestly, no (I never thought we were out). The only time you can say that is on the final whistle of the final game. We've scored late goals in the group, in the knockout, in the semi-final, such dramatic scenes. That epitomises the club and the squad, we never give up, so many important late goals. You can never think it's over.
'We've really had to graft and show character and mental strength. It's an incredibly story for us to get to the final - the way we've got there is even better.'
