Hello Afers! Welcome to All Football Coach of the Month. We list the best coaches of Europe's top 5 leagues every month.
Man Utd interim coach Solskjaer, Man City coach Guardiola, Barcelona coach Valverde, Juventus coach Allegri, and Milan coach Gattuso are the five nominees for our Coach of the Month for January voting based on their excellent works last month.
Here are their main stats:
1. Ole Gunnar Solskjær (Man Utd)
Solskjaer continued enjoying his perfect start as interim Utd manager through December.
Man Utd kept unbeaten last month as Solskjaer made it 8 wins out of 8 before a 2-2 draw with Burnley.
In FA Cup, Red Devils eliminate Reading and Arsenal to reach last 16.
2. Pep Guardiola (Man City)
Guardiola ended Liverpool's unbeaten run and book EFL Cup final spot.
Man City won 7 of the 8 games in December, including a 2-1 win over Liverpool to end Klopp's unbeaten league start.
Guardiola's side also booked EFL final with Chelsea and headed into FA Cup last 16.
3. Ernesto Valverde (Barcelona)
Valverde led Barcelona to Copa del Rey semifinals with two great comebacks.
Barcelona won all the league games in December, sitting 5 points clear of Atletico Madrid.
In Copa del Rey, despite giving up 1st-leg advantages, Valverde's men fought back to eliminate Levante and Sevilla to reach semis.
4. Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus)
Allegri won his second Supercoppa Italiana trophy with Juventus.
Juventus won 4 of the 5 games last month. The 1-0 win over Milan saw Bianconeri lift their 8th Supercoppa Italiana trophy.
In Coppa Italia, Allegri's side eliminate Bologna but were dumped out by Atalanta in quarter-finals.
5. Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan)
Gattuso brought Milan back to top 4 and eliminated Napoli to book Coppa Italia semi-final spot.
In addition to Supercoppa loss to Juventus, Milan kept unbeaten last month reaching Serie A top 4.
In Coppa Italia, Gattuso's side knocked out Sampdoria and Ancelotti's Napoli to reach last 4.

OLE deserves the manager of the month award cause his team is still unbeaten since he took the charge of the team I see that after Sir Ferguson he is probably the best manager to manage united right now ........He is right now a substitute manger probably caretaker and he himself said that being a substitute is not a bad thing and he is himself proving himself gaining all the chances and proving his worth .......TBH I will rate him ahead of every coach cause he makes United look like United......Time for ÓLE 😊........

🔴I think Ole Gunnar Solskjær has done really well and it doesn’t matter what type of opposition you face the premier league is still the premier league. ✔With Solskjær’s appointment came back the positivity and respect for the players in the squad ✔ giving the players the freedom to go out and express themselves on the field and play to their strength has totally changed the dynamics at the club ✔He has made a positive change and without getting carried away. ✔ Restored the feelgood factor at Old Trafford ✔Manchester United team is meant to go out there and press, attack-attack-attack, and score goals.. Solskjær knows and this is what he is transferring into the minds of each and every player out there ✔Praise the players instead of tearing them down in the press(take notes Jose) ✔Play Rashford in his best position, striker ✔Play fast, counter attacking football, which has been achieved by playing a front three of Martial, Rashford, and Pogba ✔Take control of the dressing room and establish a sense of respect between himself and the players, while managing huge egos at the club like Pogba very well ✔Excellent man-management skills ✔Preaching the values of United to young players like Rashford and Martial ✔Making United ice-cold in front of goal

Manchester United defeat Bournemouth 4-1 , the following week defeat Newcastle 2-1 , and our friends out there were busy saying "relax it's just Bournemouth, relax it's just Newcastle, is that not the same Bournemouth that humilate Chelsea and the same Newcastle disgrace Manchester City. OMG, relax Bournemouth it's just Chelsea, relax Newcastle it's just Manchester City. Ole deserve it. The only unbeaten one in the group.

Some of these polls are loopsided. The points stated here are skewed for a Solskjier vote. Points to note though are: 1. Manchester United only played 6 games in January not 8 2 Only Manchester City and Barcelona played 8 games, 2 more than Man U. 3 . Manchester United players were simply striking against Mourinho before he took charge. Everyone knew that there was a revolt at Manchester united. Any manager would have turned manchester United to winning ways. They simply wanted Mourinho gone. They were playing to lose. If we award him as a newcomer ignoring all the other important facts it is fine. but if we are to be objective then we can see that Velverde did much better than him as a manager by giving B team players a chance to play in the two legged cup competitions . Even though he lost the other leg , He progressed to the next stage, success , good management. Velverde won all his league games with a goal difference of +8 goals Solskjier won all his league games with a goal difference of +4 goals Pep won 3 and lost 1 league game with a goal difference of +6 goals Velverde won his knockout cup competition games with +5 goal difference Solskjier won his knockout cup competition games with +4 goal difference Pep who lost I league game, won his knockout cup competition games with a whooping +22 goal difference. They kept clean sheets in all the 4 games . If these facts were elaborated Solskjier would only fight for 3rd place. He would be beaten hands down by Velverde and Pep regardless of his one loss because he acheived more with Manchester City in January than Solskjier

it just has to be Solskjaer and this is not being unfair or biased but based on stats he is the only coach not to have lost a game in January and considering the fact that he just came, then he fully deserves the spot and I am happy afers were realistic and unbiased with their votes best coach of January, I give you "The Baby Face Assassin"
