According to Pedullà, Atalanta has reached an agreement with Savona on personal terms and can now officially initiate transfer negotiations with Nottingham Forest.
Alfredo Pedullà, a transfer expert for Sportitalia, revealed that Savona is eager to return to Serie A and has already agreed to personal terms with Atalanta.
The two clubs now need to agree on a transfer fee. The transfer could be structured as a loan with a mandatory purchase option.
The total cost is expected to be between 14 and 15 million euros, with 10% going to Juventus.
Savona can play as a right-back, wing-back, or center-back and has been called up to the Italian senior national team but has not yet made an appearance.
If Savona joins Atalanta, Bellanova may depart, with Fulham interested in the Italian player and offering close to 25 million euros.
