According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Club Brugge has offered Sommer a 1+1 contract, whereas the player wants a direct two-year deal.

Reportedly, Sommer met with Club Brugge management earlier this week.

The Swiss international goalkeeper expressed a strong desire to join the club, and his firm stance impressed the club's decision-makers. Club Brugge has now made signing him their top transfer priority.

However, differences remain between Club Brugge's offer and Sommer's salary demands, though all parties are optimistic about reaching an agreement. Specifically, Club Brugge offered a one-year contract with a one-year extension option, while Sommer prefers a direct two-year deal.
