Mauricio Pochettino is keen to help former Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli following his spectacular fall from grace over the last few years.
The new Cheslea manager coached the midfielder during their time together at Spurs and helped him become one of the most prolific midfielders in world football.
Alli's career has fallen off a cliff since Pochettino left the club, however, with spells at Everton and Besiktas not working out as fans start to remember him for the wrong reasons.
He's still an Everton player, and will likely be afforded a fresh start under Sean Dyche in pre-season, though he has a long way to go to prove he has the ability to play week in, week out in the Premier League.
Via The Sun, Pochettino said he wants to speak to Alli to find out 'what is going on' amid his steep downhill trajectory.

'I hope to have some time to call and see because he is a great guy,' the Argentine said. 'I want to talk a bit with him. I want to help him and see what is going on.
'He's still young. For sure, he has the mentality.'
Alli has been in pre-season training with Everton this week as the new season edges closer and has four weeks to prove his worth before the new campaign.
There have been questions over his off-the-field antics in recent times, with the most recent event being when he was pictured surrounded by gas canisters with a balloon in his mouth.
During their time together at Tottenham, Pochettino and Alli came close to winning the Premier League in 2015/16 before they lost out in the 2019 Champions League final to Liverpool.
Both events were the closest Spurs have come to winning a trophy since 2008.
Alli scored 18 goals and clocked 11 assists in the 2016/17 season, a year after registering 10 goals and 12 assists in the Premier League.
His career soon took a dramatic turn, however, though, at 27, there is still time to turn things back around and Pochettino may be key to helping that.
