According to a report from renowned British journalist Sami Mokbel, England will assess the fitness of Reece James and Declan Rice before their final FIFA World Cup group stage match against Panama.
Rice reportedly left Boston Stadium with a thick bandage on his left calf following England's 0-0 draw with Ghana on Tuesday. Sources indicated the injury is not expected to have a major impact on his World Cup campaign.
However, England will need to assess his condition before determining whether he can play against Panama on Saturday. Tuchel and his coaching staff will need to carefully evaluate the risks of selecting Rice for the match.
Reece James also requires assessment. He completed the full match against Ghana but will be examined by medical staff over the next 24 hours. Given his injury history, his workload will be closely monitored.

Tuchel should give Rice a complete rest for a few days, and not consider him for this game. He looks knackered, but he’s a warrior and keeps going. Rest him for England’s sake.
