Wirtz seemed OFFSIDE in the build-up to Liverpool's first goal against Fulham, but VAR, for some reason, overturned the assistant referee's original decision of a disallowed goal.
Wirtz finished past goalkeeper Bernd Leno just before the hour mark, but the goal was initially ruled out for offside. However, after a lengthy video assistant referee (VAR) review, the technology established that the German was onside and the goal was given.
According to the analysis of @FutOffsides, the goal was clearly offside, yet the semi-automated system has his foot incorrectly in the air and not in the same position.

I saw it too. It was a clear offside. VAR is now corrupt!!!

as a Liverpool fan, I still don't understand how that was given even when they showed the automated offside/onside on screen I wasn't convinced. Reid justified the scoreline though because that would have been an undeserved win for us and giving false sense of accomplishment when we have Arsenal away next. dismal.
