Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and the club's transfer guru Michael Edwards have been pictured sitting down with Fenway Sports Group chiefs, and that led to a predictable response from the club's fans.
The Reds are in Boston, the home of FSG, to take on Sevilla in a pre-season friendly on Sunday night, the second game of their summer tour of the US.
John W Henry's wife Linda Pizzuti uploaded the image on Instagram of Klopp and Edwards meeting with her, Henry and club chairman Tom Werner over a few drinks, and fans flocked to the comments section to make several transfer-related remarks.
Edwards has gained huge popularity with with fans in recent years as the club have pulled off several impressive transfer coups, including bringing in the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Alisson and Fabinho.
This summer looks to be a much quieter one though, with Klopp prepared to largely trust in the squad which won the Reds their sixth European Cup at the end of last season, as well as players returning from injury such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster.
There has been suggestions that Klopp will look to move for a backup left-back in order to provide cover for first-choice Andy Robertson, with Augsburg's Philipp Max the latest name linked.
But the fans who flooded the comments section seemed to have bigger moves in mind.

Ox has improved into a monstrous player since coming to Anfield. He's very good when he's at his best. Fabhino isn't a typical brazilian player. I'm nervous when he plays in the backline and only occasionally he looks impressive going forward.

we have no real replacements for: Robertson Trent Allison Mane Salah Van Dyke You can't win too many trophies with this skeleton staff. The only business done was to bring in a 17 year old to understudy Van Dyke. So we will worry greatly if one of these players gets injured. Klopp is a great manager but someone needs to tell him he takes waaaayy to long to buy good players for key positions. Milner cant do everything.

I don't see why we need too much signings. We have young players and old ones that can step up anytime and do the damage. We have Brewster, Wilson and Kent in attack. Milner can play back up left back and right back as well as midfield. we have good center backs. To me we need just one significant signing that is a playmaker in the midfield
Ox and Keita. We are covered in midfield with Fabs Milly Shaqs Hendo. That's the one area we dont need strengthing. The left back in a bit of concern as our youngsters did not impress there in the friendlies so far.

If Liverpool is serious to remain in contention for PL, the need to spend and negotiate on the loan deal of Phil Coutinho!!! Winning the CL shouldn't be the basis of our complacency!! Man City with all the strength they have in various departments, they're still strengthening their squad!!! l hope FSG and Klopp will see reason to add depth to the squad. The PL is our target this season!!!
