Liverpool transfer news: Ibrahima Konate set to leave Anfield on a free transfer five years after move from RB Leipzig

Ibrahima Konate is set to leave Liverpool after five years at Anfield.

The 27-year-old had been in talks with the club about extending his contract but could not find common ground when it came to signing a new deal and is now set to walk away for free.

Konate has been linked with a number of sides across Europe since the turn of the year, but has yet to decide on his next move.

Konate has made 183 appearances since his arrival from RB Leipzig, winning one Premier League title, one FA Cup and two Carabao Cups.
