Manchester United star Marcus Rashford could miss the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle, sending Red Devils fans into meltdown.
Rashford is facing a race to be fit for Sunday's showpiece match at Wembley after limping off in United's 2-1 Europa League win over Barcelona on Thursday night. The 25-year-old star has been key to the club's revival under Erik ten Hag, scoring 13 goals in 15 games in all competitions since the World Cup.
He had been expected to lead the line for United as they go in search of a first piece of silverware under the Dutchman, but that has now been thrown into all sorts of doubt.

"I don't know [if Rashford will be available]," said Ten Hag ahead of the game against the Magpies. "Players are coming in now and we have to do medical investigations. We did some yesterday but it was so soon after the game, so most of the time you can't say. You have to wait for the 100 per cent medical diagnosis."
Anthony Martial has definitely been ruled out of the match, but United fans are only concerned about Rashford. One fan commented: "Rashford injured for the final?! F***ing disaster."
Someone else said: "Omg no Rashford either I'm gonna cry." A third person added: "@MarcusRashford are you okay? I will lose it if you are injured. I will literally start shedding tears. Please be fine."
A fourth user chimed in with: "If Rashford is injured I am very disappointed and we could lose the final… Im just praying everything is good to go he is vital for this game." While another fan wrote: "Rashford being injured for the final would be a stinker and give Newcastle a massive lift, praying he ain't!"
However, some United fans are hopeful it is just mind games from Ten Hag as the Dutchman bids to end United's six-year wait for a major trophy.

Folks the last time ManU beat Barca before yesterday was 2007/08. Before and after that Barca has been walloping ManU including denying them two UCL titles. Hahaha, please allow the miserable team to celebrate their Europa win whilst wondering if they can even lift the trophy??!!

The last 3 Manchester United goals were scored without Rashford assisting or scoring. There is a big chance he would play but without him, we can still win

Understandable about the disappointment if Rashford is injured and would miss the final. But who told you United May loose ? Yes he’s very very important to the team and how they play but with what I have seen from Ten Hag so far an injury is just a minor setback. There are many way to set up against Newcastle and still beat them comfortably even without Rashford.
