I think Heiug-Son dersves it. With 2 in 3 minutes that helped Tottenham to progress through. He was the savior of Spurs in absence of Kane. He would have had a hattrick or 4 goals but his shoots went wide .He also had an accuracy of 80%. Messi was also amazing this week but Son had more passing accuracy, better shooting accuracy, decisive goals and won more possessions. No offence to Messi But who am I kidding, Messi will win through public votes since amazing performances from underated players are overlooked by big names. But we all know who dersves it

if messi doesn't score hater be like he can't play if messi scores haters be like he his scoring against small team mehn what is you guys main problem ... not to take away anything from son he was brilliant but he wasnt better than messi ... i was scrolling thru the comment section and someone said messi scored two open goal 🤦🏾🤦🏾 yeah two open goals from outside the box saying man utd is not as tough as man city i agree with you but we are not looking at who played against a better side we are looking at the person who played better with his ball on his feet ... to whom much is given much is required messi was given man utd and he did want was required son was given man city and also did what was required ... everyone got their opinion from the team they support if it were ronaldo up there this wouldn't even be a debate so the people that votes son that is their opinion those who voted messi this is our opinion [Comeon][Comeon][Comeon]

Am a Liverpool fan, but to be honest Son deserves it this time.

Messi deserves it. His goals had no assists. He won the ball by himself, nutmeged and dribbled past defenders as if they were not there then scored. Son was phenomenon but Messi's goals was one of a kind, only he himself can do it often. Even Coutinho's goal was made possible by Messi's long ball to Alba. Fact is Messi caused problems to Man U defenders by his dribbles
