Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he is a playable character in the upcoming fighting game Fatal Fury, complete with his trademark "SIU" celebration.

The Fatal Fury franchise first gained prominence in 1991, becoming one of the pioneers in the 2D fighting game genre. Over the years, it developed a strong following, with Garou: Mark of the Wolves (1999) serving as its most recent entry. However, after a long hiatus, the franchise has been revived with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, a game promising to deliver cutting-edge visuals, a revolutionary battle system, and an evolved control scheme designed to cater to both newcomers and veteran players.

The game's setting, South Town, remains the battleground for intense matchups filled with ambition and rivalries. Ahead of the game's release, Ronaldo has revealed he will be a playable fighter in the new edition.

Ronaldo shared the news in an Instagram post and wrote: "Big news to share with everyone today! I’m going to be a character in the new fighting game FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves! @fatalfury_pr Let’s have some fun on April 24th! #SNK #FatalFury #CR7."
