Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been named All Football Player of the Week.
Cristiano Ronaldo highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Jordan Pickford, Eden Hazard and Brazil women striker Cristiane to the award.
After Cristiano Ronaldo dazzled with a heroic hat-trick on Wednesday to beat Switzerland, he led his team to another international glory on home soil at the weekend.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has now taken his tally to 31 pieces of silverware after claiming two club trophies, namely the Serie A title and the Supercoppa Italiana to finish the 'special treble', this season.
With 88 goals in 158 appearances for his country, he is the highest scoring European in international football history.
"The national team has the potential to continue to evolve and win more trophies", Cristiano Ronaldo might be 34 but the Portugal captain says Nations League glory with his country will not be his international swan song.
