Messi played 2 games this week and he won both games having a hand in 4 goals scoring two himself which led to his team moving to semi's and closer to la liga title. Son played two games and lost both (4:3 and 1:0), scoring 2 goals which led to his team qualifying to the semi's. Benzema played 1, scored 3 in a la liga match that didn't really alter anything but his own goal scoring record. Tell me who really deserve this?. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion though but we shouldn't jst criticize Afers...the point isn't that vague. I personally voted for son. but Messi winning it is still well deserved.

And again fan base wins over true football. It is undeniable that Messi is one of best footballer players in history. But this doesn't mean he's the best every week. This one was clearly for Benzema or Son or even Sterling. Hope AF will change the system soon..

Very biased towards Messi no one can deny that he is the best footballer in the world but the achievement of Benzema scoring a hat trick for Real Madrid is a bigger achievement especially when you compare the Barca players that are aiding Messi and the out of form RM players that were aiding Benzema

Lionel Messi is in tremendous form this season, he's a man on a mission, he said at the start of the campaign that he wants to bring the Champions League back to the Camp Nou & he's determined, he's devastating at home, but I would like him to step up & score a few goals away as well. Maybe Anfield is the perfect destination. A clean sheet in the first leg would be vital for Barcelona.
