Real Madrid confirmed that Spain manager Julen Lopetegui will take over as Real Madrid manager following the conclusion of the World Cup in Russia. As the successor to Zidane who led Real Madrid to the Champions League trophies three times in a row, what will he bring to Real Madrid?

He will build his Madrid team around Isco just like his Spain team.. Flank Ronaldo and Bale as Benzema in d No.9 role.. he loves d 4_3_3 Formation.. something like this..

At first he will have to work on Bale and Ronaldo transfer issues. And obviously Ramos's defending tactics. Cause VAR can make difficulities for Ramos. And last of all help RM to win their 4th consecutive CL following the footprints of Zizou. 😍

I'm quite confident that Lopetegui has the character needed to succeed at the Bernabeu. His arrival at Real Madrid will be marked by a robust effort to refocus the loyalty of the dressing room on him and his backroom staff. He will try to achieve that with the advantages of already knowing many of his new players, understanding their personalities and earning their respect. Players like Ramos, Nacho, Vallejo, Vasquez, Isco and Carvajal have worked with him for years and will not only help him adapt in the Spanish capital but also introduce their teammates to his methods. If there's been one thing I admire about him, it's his ability to make tough decisions; with his interest being more in the success of those decisions than in the probability of failure. One of his most recent display of courage was in selecting Odriozola ahead of Sergio Roberto for the World Cup; with his emphasis being on the natural position of the player rather than the class of his employers. This is one of the qualities that made Zidane so successful in his short spell as coach of Real Madrid. Decisions like resting Cristiano and an out-of-form Bale required guts but ultimately proved effective. More of that will be needed and Lopetegui is more than willing to act. Finally, his teamwork oriented philosophy is sure to be the crux of his tactical displays at the Bernabeu. He most likely will find a solution to Real's leaking defence and will try to improve upon what has already been achieved, as difficult as it may seem. If there's one person who is happiest about his appointment, it's definitely Isco. The Bernabeu may finally witness the full potentials of the Spanish genius under his former national team coach.

I believe Lepetegui will maintain some of the good attributes of Zidane's era. But for the fact that he would like to be talked about as a man with his own style, He will add some flares to his game. Lepetegui will have an easy time introducing his system because he had already worked with many of the current team players on the Spanish national squad. Hence, I envision him winning trophies especially the domestic ones.

Zinedine Zidane was an underrated coach when he was introduced to Real Madrid. If he is tactical and kind like Zinedine Zidane, he can bring something like this man did and everyone got to miss him now. That's the outcome of Zidane's brain work. I miss him more today...

He will bring in an interesting style of football. Goodness me guys!! Madrid has no style of play, they only know how to kick the ball up front and look for Ronaldo. But with this coach, there's gonna be a commanding control of the game which Ronaldo will not find easy to survive because he compliant too much when he doesn't see the ball. Isco and the likes will succeed with this style. Ronaldo is really gonna have to make adjustment to his game or he will struggle. Lupe builds around the team and not around one player; Lupe holds possession, smells blood before he strikes; Lupe is entertaining and that's why Madrid will have to do a lot of knocking the ball around before they score. I believe he would make Madrid exciting to watch (Believe me, their not exciting to watch even though they have conquered Europe for 5years now) and above all, the greatness of Isco football will finally be expressed. it's gonna be an interesting season.

Lopetegui's first port of call will be to discuss the futures of real's two biggest stars in Ronaldo and Bale.Man utd remain the former Tottenham winger's first choice so it will be down to lopetegui to decide if he wants to keep him while Ronaldo's looks nothing more than his traditional end of season threat to leave while in search of an improved contract.Club is looking for gk so it wi be his choice whether to choose De Gea Allison or Oblak. If Ronaldo leaves, then he can land Neymar,Lewandowski or Hazard.

To begin with, no one (including Perez) should have any immediate aspirations regarding any trophy. Let the events unfold in first 4 months by when it will be clear whether majority of the players have accepted Julen as a boss and right results have started pouring in. A lot depends whether Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema remain or not. A new set of strikers will take time to get acclimatised to such a huge club. Infact, Julen should let go those who want to go and start anew. This might take time. But on the contrary, Julen's appointment could also be a stop gap arrangement as no big Coach is willing to come to RM now as it would test their ability vis a vis what Zizou achieved. Hence 2 years after a lukewarm season, Perez may like to get a big name coach. Till then, get new players and have them blooded for a real shot from 2020-2021 season.
