In recent years, most sports have started to keep track not only of the goal scorers, but of the team-mates who provided them with the chance to score. It’s called an assist. Scoring goals is great, but assisting others is just as, if not more important.
So which is harder?Score a goal or make an assist?

Experts of last DAILY TOPIC: How will you present yourself to media and players if you were appointed as headcoach?
@papaamericano: It's a great honor to be the headcoach of this magnificent team and club. I'm well aware that this season and forward we want to achieve many victory. To lead a team means need a great commitment, a lot of passion, self sacrifice and ambitious, determination, so i hope the fans out there will support us and the club team that behind us will bring out our potential so that we can play a great and beautiful style of football. However i knew a lot of team that have their own legend and their own history. but this is football , we evolve and we show them nothing can beat and stop the victories chaser.
@wakabcmnty: First and foremost I would like to acknowledge what my predecessor has done. I have huge respect for work he did during his time at this club. Assisting is harder because you can't get an assist without a goal, but you can get a goal without an assist. Every assist given = a goal. But the times where an attacker dispossesses a defender and scores; scores from a rebound; scores after a defender heads the ball out to him; scores a penalty etc. etc. are times where there aren't any assists. Assisting is very hard because sometimes you create a lot of chances and the striker does not score. take KDB for example, I'm sure if you look at all the chances he creates for city you'll be surprised. getting an assist requires the person your giving it to to score, if they don't take the chance to score your assisting opportunity is gone Assisting is harder than scoring

firstly let's look at what make an assist, a goal make an assist, without goal there will be no assist. haven't say this I think goal is the most difficult one between the two, this is why it's often very difficult to find a good goal scorer these days. in a soccer game u will notice that many good passes are given in a game but these passes couldn't turn into assist because the teammate who received the pass weren't able to score why because it wasn't just easy to score. when u received the ball as a striker or any other players around the goal just know that every opposition player around u are now paying attention to you, making an attempt to score, u won't just consider beating the defender but also the goal keeper so it take a good visionary player to be a goal good scorer. this is why a higher scorer in a competitive game like world cup, or domestic league are rewarding player for being a top goal scorer. so scoring goal is more difficult then making an assist. thank you.

I could say that scoring goals is more harder than assisting coz Though both are hard but they are of two different levels though the one who created the assists finds it very difficult to create space and opportunity to score, but I must tell you that it takes more than hard work 😓 to score, your accuracy, confidence, courage, inspiration etc coz it may took the one who assisted 20 tries to get one but anytime he creates one, every one expects the scorer to score if not he will suffer the criticism. Every team needs the both, cos they are very important in a team Thanks 🙏

Both task are difficult: -To assist a striker you need to have a great vii on of the game, to be a genius and talisman like Inesta or Messi or Yaya toure who passe some ball at the right moments in a logically impossible way. They can change the game in just a second. Such assists live you wonder... Without goal assist we couldn't have such great finisher like Ronaldo who depends 99% of assist. -To score a goal is a taff task too...you have a lot of pressure upon you, you should be genius too in order to score...you should be at the right place, at the right moments with a clear vision of the position of the goalkeeper. A striker is blamed 10 times more than a assist.

So, for me scoring a goal is more harder than assisting. During assist the player founds the player in best position to receive and score a goal... people can argue that assist is most difficult as they set the game for the scorer and the scorer only directs the ball towards the goal. Actually it’s bit different, be in the position from where scorer will be easy is an art. Not everyone can do that and moreover finishing is the most important in scoring any goal. That’s why everyone can’t score the way Messi and Ronaldo scores. It’s a skill where you need to be mastered to do such wonders. Yes, assisting is very important but scoring is pure skill... I think this answer must have helped you guys to decide your answers... Best of luck and hit the like 😊

I think on this issue no one can really say which easiest or other wise. Certain factors and circumstances must be taking into consideration. Though, scoring a goal depends on the angle from the net as well as the distance the goal scorer has from it, the kind of goalkeeper standing between the poles, the position of the goalkeeper and the number of defenders around. So also with the giving assist, which depends on distance between the goal scorer and assist provider, the position & number of the defenders around the assister and the scorer. Considering the above factors and giving the usual circumstances around, scoring goal is usually more difficult than assisting it. Because of the qualities required to have a prolific goal scorer which includes strength, ability, composure, accuracy, agility, balance as well as experience. As with regards to the assist provider who doesn't necessarily needs to have strength or accuracy to deliver. Based on this I personally think scoring a goal is more difficult than assisting it.

Scoring a goal. Reason: Because you play vs world class players in a big pitch the goalkeeper sometimes you play against great goalkeepers and the tactics if they are good enough to beat their opponents tactics then they can score and sometimes offside traps man marking.
