Experts of last DAILY TOPIC: What do you think of Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining LA Galaxy?
@Abdik: Well, it's a good move, the Ibra-cadabra magic is going to rock the states of America. Zlatan easily attracts a lot of people with his style of play, his uniqueness will catch the eye of many and hopefully it'll help in the globalization of the beautiful game football (soccer) in the USA. All the best Ibra.
@Vaishnavk:The one thing Zlatan wanted to win was the Champions League.
The minute Manchester was knocked out of the CL by Sevilla, the departure of Zlatan just started to become that much more likely.
Some observations in bullet form: Manchester United is a team full of egos, Pogba, Sanchez just to name a few, Mourinho usually does a good job of managing such egos but Zlatan (despite not being the saint himself) helped keep the other players in check. There was obviously a marked hierarchy , nobody messed with Zlatan, even Pogba. Every good team needs a player like this , eg:- the Warriors have D-West, even Draymond listens to him.
The obvious concern is who is going to step up and be the leader, Pogba who is the leader on the pitch or Sanchez- the most experienced and best outfield player on the team. Either way, I'm afraid the relationship between the two will suffer and one may be forced to leave.
Zlatan shifts focus from CL to WC. This is an obvious indication that Zlatan is no longer interested in the Champions League Medal, the one thing that eluded him in Barca, Milan, Inter and PSG.Instead he is shifting to LA , and trying to get regular playing time so he can be selected for the Sweden squad going to Russia for the FIFA World Cup. He is taking a big wage cut and will now be paid only 1.5 Million $ annually instead of 15โ20 million he would have got if he moved to China. So, the only reason why this happened is because he wants to build his brand in America.

It's because some players are not looking towards their finishing abilities and instead work on their play making ability. They try to be a more creative player by either playing a key role in his team goals or by directly assisting to the forwards. It also depends on their role in a particular position.Like a Midfielder who is playing as CM will only assist and will socre some goals like Kroos and a CAM who provide assists but will score too when there is an opening for him like KDB It also depends on the abilities of a player wether he is a good shooter of the ball or a master class with his passing, vision and finding space etc.

Some players are better in providing assists than shooting because ; 1.They have different vision on the field.. Rather than going for a shot they prefer to pass the ball to the player who have a better angle........ 2.These players know their responsibility. They know that their teams have some good strikers so why not giving them a well placed ball.Because at the end every player plays for team and not for himself.............. 3.We have seen various strikers like Kevin de Bruyne, mesut ozil, toni Kroos assisting the ball because they know their importance and responsibility for their team.... Every player can shot the ball inside the box but providing them the ball is what makes you a good player..... They are the real play makers........

I think one thing that makes them better at giving assists is their playing style overall. If they are one of the players that are found offside often or are getting lots of through balls, then they will be better at scoring. But midfielders like Kevin and busquets both donโt go too far forward and try to focus more on the midfield than compared to someone like Paulinho. They might be affects by their team tactics as well, for example, if the team is more playing more of a passing game or possession game, then they get used to passing more often than shooting and vice versa for more attacking tactics.

firstly most players who are providing assists are midfielders, attacking midfielders to be exact. scoring goals is not their main priority although everyone wants to score, but creating assists and opening up defences is what they do best and they work hard on doing that rather than searching for goals like a striker.. an attacking/central midfielder scores goals as bonuses or in situations where they think the better decision is to go after goal than passing it... take KDB, pirlo, iniesta, pogba, ozil, erikson, Tony kroos, fabregas for example, these players are not direct goal scorers but players who creates assists, open defences and break teams down with clinical passes for forwards to latch on to. this is their job, this is what midfielders do, assisting and creating is their main priority, their main objective... scoring goals is a bonus for them and this is why I love these types of players because they tend not to be selfish and going for goal every time, but they create and okay free football. this is their game and assisting is only what some players are great at

Some players are better at providing assists because they put their time to different areas compared to other players. Forwards are always shooting, and don't always focus on their passing. Midfielders however, are all about passing, so they're more naturally adapted to deliver good passes as assists. There is such a huge variety of players, and the ways they spend their time are very unique, so some players work harder to create assists then scoring themselves. Players have very different talents, and the way they use these talents may allow them to deliver key passes easier. Some players don't have a great shot, but when they set up a goal with a brilliant pass, they feel a huge sense of pride using their talents for something useful. They know that if their passes aren't perfect, the goal would've never happened, and they feel proud to be the reason goals are on the board. strikers don't have to have a good shot for the ball to go into the net, but other players have to have great passing abilities for the ball to even get to their teammates in the first place. they are happy they could contribute to the team, and are happy their fellow teammates could benefit the team and help raise their assist totals.

well some players just have that good eye sight and are able to break defences with one pass of the ball or it's their dribbles and crosses that are the best aspect of their footballing but there is still one player who is good at everything

Having played football as a striker and also seen other strikers or footballers play, I feel that 1- Fear of failure- They don't want to fail perhaps they have tried many times and won't just score e.g Benzema at the moment. 2- Confidence- They just lack the confidence required to try, you don't want to be blamed and you just give out the ball to someone else. 3- Better position - There isn't a need to try get a goal when someone else is in a better position to score, why not just give it out?

Best playmaker The Assist King ๐๐ They are better in providing assist because they are creative and have good vision regarding other players movement. They are quick in taking decision and they are able to put the ball in those space where they think the other player will come and will have have a good position to guide the ball towards the goal post and at last they are not selfish and think of a team game. ๐๐

Some players do indeed take greater pleasure in playing the defence splitting pass to set a team mate through on goal than actually scoring themselves. Players like KDB, Ozil, Eriksen, Silva are playmakers blessed with phenomenal vision and spatial awareness, that ability to see 2 or 3 passes ahead and then have the presence of mind to pick the right pass. These qualities are important whether you're trying to open up stubborn defences or create quick transitions from defence to attack or even merely to pass the opposition to death! Midfield players naturally don't get on the score sheet as often as forwards mostly because they are tasked with creating scoring opportunities for their team mates. Obviously if a chance fell their way they'd have to dispatch it. It is lovely to watch a great goal but the sight of a midfielder in full flow, making the ball bend to his whims is pure magic!
KDB in the 7-2 win against Stoke earlier this season is one such example

KDB is one of the best midfielder in the world... Some players does not want to Score Goals.. They just want to be playmaker... I mean the heart of the game.. Real foot ball fans know the which is main part of football.. KDB is a successful playmaker in Man city.. They will gonna lift the EPL Trophy this season... He is the main man of Pep's side...

Well, some players just know how to put their teammates in front of goal with a pass. They have the vision to give assists and they like to do that. They like to find weak spots where they can onfiltrate an intelligent pass. That's what Messi does.He sees space, he takes advantage of it and makes out a great pass. Still, in my opinion De Bruyne is the best at assisting.Best playmaker in the world. There are others too like: Kroos, Ozil, Modric, Iniesta, Pjanic and a whole lot others.

Some players are better at providing assists than scoring goals, and such players are Kelvin de Bryne,Mesut Ozil,Toni Kroos,Luka Modric etc. And its simple, that's what they are meant for. Because they see themselves that they are not strikers or goal poachers and not all that good at scoring goal. they can score but don't have the eye for goal and always know there are some players who can give u plenty goals a season and they are not such. These players are called the passers of the ball, they prefer passing to scoring of the ball. And that's what they are made of.
