England, a multi-cultural society awash with people travelling to every corner of the globe. However, when it comes to football, it's something of a lost tradition. For British players, the idea of moving abroad seems anathema.
Why do so few English footballers play overseas? What's your opinion?

Experts of last DAILY TOPIC: Among these players born in 1995 or after, who has the brightest future?
It is such a difficult question to answer. There are a lot of great young stars on that list.
I will go with Marco Asensio, not because of my affiliation with Los blancos but because of of his obvious talent and experiences.
Marco Asensio is probably one of the most exciting young player out there and he is certainly not some fluff in a pan and plays for one of the biggest football club side in the world.
Asensio has won numerous titles at his fledgling Real Madrid career, and that gives him an edge over his peers.
Under the tutelage of great managers at Real, coupled with CR7 shielding the spotlight away from the Asensio, the path for Marco to roar to superstardom is paved.
GO!! ASENSIO! WE LOVE YOU
My vote has been for CHRISTIAN PULISIC.
I don't watch Bundesliga much, neither do I know much about his stats. But, in the recent game of Dortmund against Bayern I definitely saw a spark of a special player in him. Googled a bit about him and found that after Messi and Neymar he has the most dribbles in Europe. My opinion is not the best if supporting by any data is concerned; but I believe that he's got something special.
It sounds like a story but it's the truth. Mbappe, Asensio, etc are also good but Pulisic is the one I'll mention.

I must say it's between Asensio and Dembele..... They're in a situation of make or break where they can either become the best in the world and conquer everything as they're associated with the best clubs in the world or ruin their careers by making wrong decisions.... I see that Kylian Mbappe has been voted the most.... And I also think that he is a wonder kid but personally I think he made a mistake by joining PSG instead of Barca or Madrid coz he would have got exactly what he needs at those clubs and that is limelight.... He, instead went for a less competitive league and a less decorated side.....

Because many English players are overrated. Yes, the Premier League is a tough league, but Guardiola and his Noise Neighbors are walking through it like a knife through butter. Many Englishmen have tried playing over seas, some has succeeded and some have failed. But I just think that maybe the Pl is a bit overrated, as well as are Englishmen. But it's not English men only, there have been a lot of players who left their native country to go somewhere else and failed.

I'd read half of it earlier. I've read it now and left a 👍. Sometimes, I don't get notified if some author mentions me in their comment.
Thanks for your time and effort. I guess that's yet another glitch in the AF update 🤔

Well its a quite obvious english game doesn’t have the academy that can deploy the talent that Madrid and Barca demand. How many of them ? You remember ... Becks,Scholes & Steve G8 . Now harry Kane ... well the problem is this short list is too important to their teams they’re kind like in one man army team. If they leave almost the team is gonna vanish. For instance of my comments : the only players that can fit in elclasico today is de burenye hazzard? Le-roy sane erikson and non of them is english . Walker has a point / room to prove still

The money in premier league is the holding factor. we have six that can pay for any player in the world... it's different elsewhere where there might be two or three giant clubs the rest can't pay the players what they can't be paid at home.

Because English media puts too much pressure on youngsters," new Rooney, next Ronaldo, the next Ballon D'or, he'll replace Messi, he'll be the Messi of England" this pressure sets a standard theybwill never reach, look at Rooney, they set him even higher after doing so much for club and country, yet some say he's a failure.

Well, few English players play outside England because of the following reasons: 1.Barclays Premier league: One of the best and most competitive footballing leagues in the world right now, BPL is glamorous, famous and every footballer thinks of starting their career from there. The league is tough and highly competitive, so it puches the players to work hard and become good players. 2.Home: England is home of every English player and that's very palpable. So, if you have the best league in the world functioning in your country then what's the point of going out of the country and play somewhere else.

well, this really came at the right time, because I've always wondered while more players from maybe Spain or Italy or France regularly make their way to the EPL,and they do very well too,the likes of ozil, Zlatan and Sanchez being good examples, why not vice versa too?why do the English guys yearly prefer to stay indoors,at the EPL and are scared to pay a visit to other regions of the world? To start with,my first bet would be the issue of "Family".English players, over time, have really formed the habit,or let's say, taken to the idea of settling down very early.most English players get married in their early twenties, and before we can say jack, their families get 100% attached to the inarguably, rich culture of England which in the long run, affects their career decisions, as the players were naturally the creators of the families in the first place. Another theory of mine to the reason while the EPL guys are reluctant to step foot outside their lovely English kingdom, lies in their dogmatic premonition, that the EPL is the best league in the world.and why we they want to leave?,when truly the beautiful game of football was said to have originated from England?, but yet,one can't waste precious time envying this rich history of theirs,as they are,on the international and arguably on European platform, yet to prove their metal and giving Italy or Spain a good spanking in their bottoms. Another of my favorite thoughts, without much ado,I guess, lies in their individuality, which is at the same time linked to "Lady luck".a perfect example of this particular thought of mine,is the Morrison-Pogba Comparison. Morrison was often seen as the more noticeable midfielder in that Manchester United youth side. Morrison left Manchester United for West Ham in January 2012, just two days short of his 20th birthday. Pogba, who is still only 22 years old, left United the following summer, when also aged 19.but at the moment, the contrast is so remarkable, seeing as Pogba, who left later, has made it to Limelight while Morrison at the moment is still trying to get a starting shirt in the first eleven. other reasons include lack of willingness to rise to the top in foreign lands in terms of performance and also, the ability to just seat down for once and take the pain to learn Spanish, German,French or Italian and before we know it,they are off packing their belongings, ready to come back to their safety zone,Which is the English Premier League.
