World Cup Group L Standings: England leads, Panama eliminated

As of June 24th (UTC), all matches of the FIFA World Cup Group L round 2 have concluded, with updated standings now available.

England and Ghana drew 0-0, with both teams accumulating 4 points. England currently leads the group due to superior goal difference.

Croatia defeated Panama 1-0 and temporarily ranks third in the group. Panama has been mathematically eliminated, as their inferior head-to-head record against Croatia means they cannot qualify even with a win against England in the final round.

In the final round, England will face Panama as they vie for top spot in the group. Ghana and Croatia both remain in contention for direct qualification, though both could also finish third.
