Experts of last DAILY TOPIC: What are the advantages of former professional players in coaching job?
@Manny_talks119: Ex players tend to have a more personal touch to their coaching as they are aware of dressing room dynamics. They know how to motivate and encourage the team as they have been motivated before in their career. Coaches like Pep, Simeone, Conte, Zidane are good managers because they know how to handle players egos and needs much unlike say Jose Mourinho.
Coaches who have enjoyed success during their playing careers also act as role models since players look up to them and try to emulate them. Guys like Pep, Zidane, Deschamps have succeeded as managers because players are always looking to attain a similar level of success. I mean who wouldn't want to be coached by a legend of the game!
Ex players are also more versatile tactically as they've been part of various systems throughout their playing careers. Pep has managed to build teams based on Johann Cruyff's ethos of total football having been coached by the legendary Dutchman.
Ex players also have the know how to navigate through certain competitions having participated and even won various trophies during their careers.
@coachLatiph: The advantages are numerous. But I will list few...
They have played under different managers and also in different competitions and different weather. So this makes them come good. As they will be able to inspire there player and use themselves as references.
More they gain the respect of players much more than the coaches who didn't even kick a ball. Guardiola is an evidence of this example. The players are more comfortable and tend to be free with a coach who was an ex-player, as they see him that he has also undergone the same thing he's trying to teach them.
If the coach was a champion during his playing days, the players will work hard so as to emulate him.. Just like Zidane, Deschamp, Guardiola, Ancelotti.
It a big advantage for an ex player to be coach as he brings Simplicity, Valor and Dignity to the team they take charge of.

I will go for the UCL champion,l. reason being is that, we all know one thing is that club sides are the coming together of different big players from different countries to make a club team. And when we talk of UCL champions we are talking of one of the best club in the club which will comprise the leagues of best players in the world. there are many edges in which club sides UCL champions have over world cup champions. 1. I can vividly say that all the players of UCL champion are best players (take Real Madrid for an example) and I can say it not all players of world cup champions are best player (take France for example) there is this guy that played 2 for France hanandez, averagely they might be best players but not all. 2. players in UCL champion have much time to play together so they know how to work things out among them selves, they have a pattern of play in which every one is well adapt too and that makes them stronger than the World cup champions which they come together once in 4years to play together everyone with different patterns. take Brazil for example in the just concluded world cup, they are all hood players but they all playing there individual style games which later caused there defeat out of world cup. so we we look to all this criteria which UCL champions have over World cup champions I will say UCL champions are stronger.

If Real Madrid played France 1) There would be 2 Varanes 2) Real Madrid will probably perform better as they can put any player from different countries when France can only choose those who are French or have French citizenship. Itβs just one country. Real Madrid have players from around the world so I think they would combine their skills and style of play and defeat France. But that doesnβt mean winning the UCL is better than winning the WC.

i believe that UCL champions will be the stronger side because clubs have many players from other countries experiencing different styles, while wc champions have some players from that club which will make them weaker. for example, in real Madrid vs france game: france will lose one of their backbone called varane and replace him with someone average called rami. this will give the advantage for real Madrid to win. however, if we want to compare the squad of Barcelona 2006 vs italy 2006 , we will see the game will be equal and will be the one to watch. i will predict for italy to win because they are so hard to beat and can turn the counterattack into a goal in a minute. while Barcelona don't have messi, and their defense can be exposed in any time. in conclusion, we cannot always say UCL champions will be the winners because the game will depend on who have better tactics and who will stay focused when a star gets injured. who do you guys think will be the winner between italy of 2006 and Barcelona of 2006i if there was a tournament called wc champions vs UCL champions? πππππ₯π₯π₯π₯π₯

for me I think it can go either way but the UCL has a slight adventage , for example look at the real Madrid winning team and the France winning team ,I mean France got no chance at all except luck if they should win a team like Madrid make up of stars from different countries , any team can win the world cup but not any team can win the champions league ,there r some world cup teams that are so poor or weak but they have more chances to win the world cup but a champions league winning team is made up of the strongest ever football team that year. a team like France I don't think they got a chance against that Madrid side .if the world cup was being played each year then a weaker team should have a chance but the UCL is played each year but even one of the greatest teams haven't lift the trophy since a decade .also the UCL is the most competitive football tornament in the world , participated by the best teams in the world but not the same for the world cup

I think it's dependent on the year. let's look at 2014. I don't think ucl winner real Madrid that year would beat that fabulous wc winner Germany. further back in 2010 there's no way that inter Milan ucl winner beat that magnificent wc Spain.

Well this is not a easy question to answer. I think in this way. UCL can beat WC only because 1.In one team there are lots of amazing players that play in different countries(Barca ,Real, Bayern,...) 2.A lot of amazing playerd does not play as good as they play for the club. 3.Players play all the time with each other and can understand each other before making the move. But WC can beat UCL because 1.When a player play for his country give it all 2.Players put the heart in the game 3.Sometimes national team is better than Club teams. 4.Winning WC is not the same as winning UCL player dream to win WC and make the imposible for that. In the end I think UCL beat WC.
