Barcelona have agreed a deal in principle with Arsenal to sign Gabriel Jesus for £8.6m (€10m).
All sides are now working on the details of the transfer and it is progressing towards a conclusion.
Plans are therefore being made for the Brazil striker to travel to Spain, which could be as soon as Monday.
It would not be correct to say this deal ends Barcelona's pursuit of Julian Alvarez. Sky Sports News has been are told they are completely separate.
Arsenal have also agreed a deal to sell Fabio Vieira to Hamburg.
The transfer for the midfielder is expected to be worth around £7.7m. Vieira is on his way to Germany to finalise the move.
