In the third round of the Champions League group stage, Liverpool defeated Villarreal 4-3 at home. 18-year-old Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha delivered 2 assists in the match, and his outstanding performance earned him the official UEFA Champions League Player of the Match award.
In this match, Ngumoha performed exceptionally well in attack, providing two assists in a single game and helping Araújo and Mac Allister find the back of the net.
At just 18 years and 52 days old, Ngumoha set a record in this match, becoming Liverpool's youngest player to provide an assist in a European competition and the third youngest player in Champions League history to provide at least two assists in a single game.
Following his standout display, Ngumoha was named the Player of the Match.

if this boy can stay in Liverpool in the next 4 years , he will make name for himself now that he understands the game and the team , he need to stay and build because if you leave the team , for you to settle in another team is 50 /50 chance , so is not guarantee , if I'm to be him now , I don't need any other team for now , he is still learning ,he still need to put more time to himself to get to a level where he can play anywhere , so don't disturb this boy for now with your transfer, as for me as Liverpool fan, we are not afraid to lose anyone ,but we are more concerned about the young man future , so allow him to express his love in football in where he find love and passion , now that he understand the team and the game now .

you see one thing I always say about players, is not about you must score the Goal , but if you have the opportunity to score , do it , but if your partner is more open to score do it for him, to win the best player award is not about you score is about your effort to make the team grow and to win .
