Barcelona will release its new 2026-27 season kits on June 30. That evening, members will be able to purchase the gear online, and it will officially go on sale in all Barcelona club stores starting July 1. As Mundo Deportivo previously revealed, the launch venue has been chosen as the iconic MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) in Barcelona.
The biggest change in the first kit is the treatment of the club's traditional colors. The design incorporates three different shades of red and three shades of blue, creating a gradient effect distinct from last season. This color scheme aims to pay homage to the new facade of the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, which is currently undergoing renovation and is one of the symbols of the club's broader modernization plan.
Beyond that, the kit numbers will also feature innovation. The numbers on the first kit will pay tribute to the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, whose 100th death anniversary was observed earlier this month. The numbers will incorporate typical elements of this great architect's modernist style. Gaudí is one of the most outstanding architects in Catalonia and the world, with Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà among his representative works. The second kit continues the collaboration with Nike's Mamba Collection, paying tribute to Kobe Bryant. It features a bold design with a dark purple and black base, incorporating a gradient effect and metallic, iridescent gold details. The numbers will be gold, inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers, the team Kobe played for.
Barcelona's 2026-27 season third kit numbers / Memorabilia 1899
The third kit reintroduces a well-received color scheme from the past: Mint Green. It is paired with darker green details and a bluish neckline. The overall design is fresh, summery, and clearly distinct from common color schemes. According to Memorabilia 1899, the numbers will pay homage to the 1992 Kappa kit of the same color, which was worn by Barcelona players for several seasons.
