Arsenal have officially unveiled their new away kit design for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign, with fans split on the yellow, black and blue adidas design
Arsenal have released their new away kit for the 2023/24 season.
This season marks 20 years since the north London club last won the Premier League title, with the home shirt an ode to that campaign, when Arsene Wenger led his side to a full league season unbeaten. Their away strip is vastly-different from last year's black and bronze designs, switching to a yellow kit with black wavy lines.
The Adidas shirt was donned by Gunners stars Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli, with the video captioned: "Ready to broadcast Islington’s finest to the world. Introducing the new Arsenal x @adidasFootball 23/24 Men’s Team away kit."
Supporters' reactions to the new strip were certainly mixed, with some fans adoring it whilst others were a little less impressed.
Here is what a select few on Twitter said:
@Jheffhers: "I actually Love this kit.... It's growing one me, especially with the waves from the city....."
@danielrhenry: "The kit has grown on me because of this video."
@TikiTakaConnor: "Can’t believe someone said yes, this is a good design."
@dracowang24: "To be fair, this video makes it much better."
@bigjonnyboy4: "announcement vid is fire but kit is shocking."
@Theojackson92: "The video makes the kit nicer, good content."
@fkachembere: "Fire video but that kit is a no for me and considering how good last season’s away kit was, this is a downgrade."
@doc11886: "Nothing wrong with the kit, people need to stop crying."
