On This Day in 2017 - Salah Scored THAT GOAL which Beated Ronaldo to 2018 Puskas
On 10 December 2017, Liverpool host Everton in Anfield, Premier League top scorer Mo Salah had given Liverpool the lead in 42nd minute, finding the top left corner with a fine effort after evading the challenges of two Everton players in the box.
The Egyptian's strike against Everton beat goals such as Gareth Bale's Champions League final overhead kick, Cristiano Ronaldo's acrobatic effort against Juventus and Benjamin Pavard's stunning World Cup volley in September this year.
On This Day in 1987 - Argentina Star Higuain was Born
On 10 December 1987, AC Milan & Argentina star Higuain was born.
Higuain was born in France, attaining Argentine citizenship in 2007. He started his career with Argentine club River Plate, before a transfer to Real Madrid in January 2007 for €12 million. His time in Spain saw him score 107 goals in 190 appearances.
He joined Italian side Napoli for €40 million in July 2013. In the 2015–16 season, he scored 36 league goals, winning the Capocannoniere title and equalling Gino Rossetti's 87-year-old record for goals in an Italian top-flight season.
Italian champions Juventus signed him for €90 million in 2016, making him the most expensive South American footballer of all time (until Neymar's transfer to PSG in 2017); his transfer fee was the highest ever paid by an Italian team (until Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus in 2018) and also the highest of a player transferring within any domestic league. In 2018, he was loaned to Milan.
On This Day in 2004 - FIFA Goes Clubbing Again
On 10 December 2004, FIFA announced the restoration of the Club World Championship, replacing the Intercontinental Cup.
Dating back to 1960, the Intercontinental Cup matched the Copa Libertadores champions against the European Cup/Champions League winners, with the winner claiming the unofficial title as world champions. Originally played as a two-legged home and away series, in 1980 it rebranded as the Toyota Cup and switched to a single-game format, with the match played in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, in 2000, FIFA held a separate competition called the Club World Championship. Eight teams participated--one each from CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, and OFC, plus two from both UEFA and CONMEBOL. Although FIFA planned it as a continuing tournament, they eventually canceled the 2001 edition due in part to the loss of their marketing partner.
But in 2004, they decided to revive it, merging their earlier concept with the Toyota Cup. Played in Tokyo, the tournament included the winners of each of the six confederation championships in a knockout-round format. São Paulo won the first one, beating Liverpool 1-0 in the final.

Mo Salah winning Puskas Award tells you everything you need to know about FIFA. They have become a joke. That wasn't even Salah's best goal of the season, this is absolutely shocking. Im a Messi fan but Ronaldo desearves the award this season, Like Messi desearved to win a puskas award the goal he scored against Athletico bilbao. A part from this the other thing was Messi nomination in the Ballon dor "5th place". France football Presenting the best joke searies.

Not being a biased Liverpool fan like Bale and Ronaldo goals were better than Him of course his goal was also well but Puskas Award was like little much.....But I was happy as a Liverpool fan but to be truthful I had like less idea how he won that ....?....I really think Ronaldo or Bale deserved that......
