Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Atlético Madrid will file a formal complaint with FIFA regarding Barcelona's handling of the Álvarez transfer.
According to Romano, Atlético Madrid plans to lodge an official complaint with FIFA over Barcelona's negotiations with Álvarez, who remains under contract with the Spanish club.
Atlético Madrid CEO Gil Marín said: "It is our responsibility to defend Atlético Madrid's interests, which is why we will file a complaint with FIFA regarding Barcelona's negotiation with a player who is still under contract during the player's protected period."

Stop typing nonsense. ATM waited until the player went public with transfer request which is completely wrong. Except free agent and agreed negotiations with parents company no transfer can be announced. Real Madrid bid for the same player through ATM not the player.
