On this day in 2016, Zinedine Zidane was appointed manager of Real Madrid for the first time. He is the only manager in history to win three consecutive Champions League finals.
In his initial two and a half seasons with Madrid, Zidane won the UCL an unprecedented three times consecutively, won the Super Cup and CWC twice each, as well as a La Liga title, and a Supercopa de España. But he resigned in May 2018.
Following poor results by the club in the subsequent months, Zidane returned to Real Madrid as manager in March 2019.
122 wins in 184 games at Real Madrid so far see Zidane become one of the best coaches in the world. Do you think he is the most successful manager in the history of Real Madrid?

OTD in 2016, Real Madrid appointed Zizou my idol as their coach and rest is left for Cristiano and his fans to think he single handedly won everything. Poor lad.
