Carson's StubHub Center plays host to two European giants on Wednesday in the latest International Champions Cup clash

AC Milan and Manchester United will go head to head on Wednesday as the International Champions Cup gathers pace with this latest match.

It has been a busy summer off the pitch for Milan, complete with a change of ownership and a successful bid to salvage their Europa League berth.

And now their attentions can turn to matters on the field, with Mourinho's United sure to pose a stern challenge in Carson's StubHub Center.

TV Channel, Live Stream & How To Watch

In the United States (US) the game will be shown live on television on ESPN and will be available to stream live online via WatchESPN.

In the United Kingdom (UK), the game can be watched live on TV on Premier Sports and streamed on the Premier Player app.

Squads & Team News

Despite being strongly linked to a Juventus return, Leonardo Bonucci was included in Milan's ICC squad while talks continue over a possible transfer.

World Cup participants Carlos Bacca, Lucas Biglia and Ivan Strinic are missing for Gennaro Gattuso's team, however.

Potential Milan XI: Donnarumma; Abate, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Antonelli; Locatelli, Bonaventura, Calhanoglu, Mauri; Borini, Suso.

The Red Devils have taken a weakened squad to the United States, with a host of World Cup stars missing.

The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Marcos Rojo and Paul Pogba all stay at home, but Alexis Sanchez is present after resolving visa issues.

Potential Man Utd XI: Romero; Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw; Herrera, McTominay; Alexis, Mata, Gomes; Martial.

Betting & Match Odds

United are considered to be favourites to win the game, with dabblebet offering odds of 11/8 on the Red Devils coming out on top. Milan are priced at 9/5 and a draw is available at 12/5.

Match Preview

The headlines at San Siro have been dominated by Milan's instability off the field. Previous owner Li Yonghong has seen his stake in the club usurped by hedge fund Elliott Management, meaning an uncertain future is in store.

Milan have also had to deal with a suspension from the Europa League handed down by UEFA for breaking FFP rules, although the ban has since been shelved; while coach Gattuso and star players Bonucci and Gianluigi Donnarumma could also be moving on before this summer comes to an end.

With the club's new owners looking on, a strong start is vital for Gattuso, and that will mean impressing in the International Champions Cup.

Jose Mourinho too is keen to see more from his charges. "Everything is really bad," the manager stated last week, frustrated at a lack of transfer activity while rivals Liverpool have been making waves in the market.

A 0-0 ICC draw with San Jose barely calmed Mourinho's nerves, and by all accounts there is still plenty of work to do around Old Trafford before the season starts.

While Milan have rather more serious troubles, they should prove a sterner test for Mourinho's young guns on Wednesday evening, and failure to win would only cause more clouds to form over the club.
