Arsenal fans brand Richarlison 'sore loser' after he rejects Brazil team-mate

Arsenal fans have been ripping into Richarlison after footage emerged of the Tottenham man ignoring Brazil team-mate Gabriel Martinelli during Sunday's north London derby.

The Gunners hit the ground running and were 2-0 up by half-time thanks to an embarrassing Hugo Lloris own goal and a stunning 25-yard strike from Martin Odegaard.

In the second half, Martinelli went over to take a corner in front of the Arsenal fans, but paused to offer a fist-bump to Richarlison, who was warming up just a few yards away, sparking howls of laughter in the away end.

Wisely, the Tottenham forward ghosted his compatriot, before gesturing to him as he walked away from him down the touchline.

The incident sparked plenty of debate on social media, with Gunners fans branding the former Everton forward a "sore loser" and others insisting Martinelli's behaviour was out of order.

"Richarlison absolutely rattled there, what a sore loser," one supporter tweeted, while another wrote: "Trolling at its finest. Richarlison is a mug."

Rival fans disagreed, with one commenting: "What is Richarlison supposed to do there? Fist bump a rival player when you're 2-0 down?"

Another said: "Martinelli being a cocky little p*** here, Richarlison did the right thing."

Richarlison was brought on shortly after, but could little to stem the tide as Arsenal secured a comfortable win to go eight points clear at the top of the table.
