Arsenal teenager Emile Smith Rowe will be sent on loan next season in order to gain more first-team experience, according to reports.

Smith Rowe has been tipped for a bright future at the Emirates after shining when called upon last campaign in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.

But the Gunners are willing to see him develop elsewhere on loan, although a decision as to where he will play his football next will not be made until he has fully recovered from his groin injury.

According to the Independent, Wolfsburg have become the latest Bundesliga side to show interest in the 18-year-old Englishman, who endured a frustrating loan spell at RB Leipzig in the second half of last season due to his naggling injury.

Leipzig also remain interested in having the attacking midfielder back next season, while a host of Premier League and Championship outfits have registered interest.

One La Liga club are also monitoring Smith Rowe's situation ahead of the start of their domestic campaign.

A decision will be made over his future within the next couple of weeks as he continues his rehabilitation.

Despite an imminent loan move, Unai Emery sees the teenager as very much a part of Arsenal's future after he signed a long-term contract extension last summer
