Arsenal are heading the queue of clubs looking to sign Chelsea's Tammy Abraham this summer.
The Blues striker is set to leave Stamford Bridge having struggled for opportunities under Thomas Tuchel.
Several Premier League sides have expressed an interest in Abraham, with Tottenham and West Ham also keen.
However the latter is struggling to meet the club's valuation and won't pay more than £30m.
The 23-year-year old finds himself some way down the Chelsea pecking order and will have to leave if he wants to continue his development.
The west Londoners are willing to let Abraham join the Gunners on loan this season provided a £40m obligation-to-buy clause is included in the deal, according to The Sun.
The 23-year-old's £80,000-a-week wages are set to be paid entirely by Mikel Arteta's side.
Abraham grew up as an Arsenal fan and idolised Thierry Henry, making the move an attractive one.
Mikel Arteta is in the midst of an Emirates overhaul and could sanction the departures of Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette leaving them on the look out for a new striker.
Tuchel has previously addressed his sporadic use of the striker, who at times failed to even make the matchday squad.
In April he said: “I can only judge what I see. I saw a bright young man in front of me. I saw a guy who is self-confident, who has a lot of talent.
"But it cannot be that in a period of such good results that suddenly the guys who don’t play are the winners.
“This is not logical to me. He was for some weeks not available, so is it now the moment to do crazy stuff and try things?
"If you just look at the data, you will say: ‘OK, he’s the top scorer.’ If you look at the data since we are here, it will maybe tell you a different story.”
Tuchel wants to add another striker to his attacking line in the coming weeks with the likes of Erling Haaland linked.
The German kept faith with Timo Werner despite his lack of goals last term but also played a false nine system.
Olivier Giroud has left Stamford Bridge and headed to AC Milan leaving the Blues light in attack.
Harry Kane is also on the market having expressed a desire to leave Tottenham, but the rivalry between the two London clubs means any deal is unlikely.
Romelu Lukaku, a former Blue, is also on Chelsea's shortlist following an impressive few years at Inter Milan.
