During his pre-match press conference for the Champions League game against Valencia, Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho, was asked about a supposed call from Zinedine Zidane where the Frenchman told him that he didn't want the coach's job at Old Trafford.
The Spanish journalist was surprised by the Portuguese's response.
Spanish Journalist: “The English press said Zidane called you to assure you that he didn’t want your position.”
Mourinho: “Ask the guy behind you because he wrote it.”
Neil Custis: “Oh yeah, he has!”
Mourinho: “He put a bug on my phone so why don’t you ask him."
He said, pointing to a journalist from The Sun, who had written the article.
