An Australian social media influencer has secretly married her football-star boyfriend in a private ceremony - before revealing she is seven months pregnant.

Sarah Kohan is expecting her first child with West Ham and Mexico star Javier Hernandez, 30.

Ms Kohan, 24, confirmed she had married the footballer in secret in Chula Vista, California last week.

'Yes we got married. Nothing to hide. Happy weekend to everyone,' she posted on social media.

The Harvard-educated law graduate shared a topless photo of herself to Instagram on Tuesday saying she was seven months pregnant.

'Can't believe we are in the third trimester already! We can't wait to meet you baby boy!' Ms Kohan posted.

She also hit out at critics who have slammed her for posting revealing photos of her body.

'There is no need for negative comments if I want to show my pregnant body like it is and having grown a baby for seven months I can,' she said.

Ms Kohan rose to fame on social media after posting about her extensive travels around the world.

She travelled to the Cook Islands, Bora Bora, Hawaii, The Bahamas, Europe and South America, documenting her adventures in incredible photos.

Ms Kohan now has more than 1.3million followers on Instagram.

In 2017, Ms Kohan told Daily Mail Australia her favourite trips involved encounters with animals.

'When I'm underwater and swimming with a whale, it seems like nothing else matters - seeing an animal in their element and being able to interact with them without feeling scared or them feeling vulnerable - that's nice to see,' she said.

Ms Kohan said she has been swimming with sharks for about seven years and swum with humpback whales for the first time last year.

She said she hopes to break the stigma surrounding sharks.

'They're beautiful creatures and so unique. People always need to be respectful of their surroundings and appreciate that they are just a beautiful animal.'

Hernandez, known by his nickname 'Chicharito' - meaning 'little pea' in Spanish - was the first Mexican player to join Manchester United.

He has also played for Real Madrid and German club Bayer Leverkusen.

Hernandez has won 108 caps for the Mexican national team and is the country's all-time leading goal scorer.
