Robert Lewandowski and Ivan Perisic were on target as Bayern Munich started the post Niko Kovac era with a 2-0 win over Olympiacos that secured qualification for the Champions League last 16.
A humiliating 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday brought an end to Kovac's 16-month tenure and caretaker boss Hansi Flick saw his side frustrated for large parts by Jose Sa.
The visiting goalkeeper made several sharp stops and Benjamin Pavard hit the post, but Lewandowski's sixth goal of the group stage broke the away side's resolve.
Substitute Perisic made sure of the points late on meaning Bayern are guaranteed to progress from Group B, leaving Flick to now prepare Bayern for a crucial Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Coman squares the ball to Goretzka who is just outside the box and the midfielder decides to have a shot on goal. He strikes his effort low towards the bottom corner and Sa gets a hand to it to push it away.

Muller has just gone down in the box in a challenge off the ball this time from Meriah. The fans and the player are asking for a penalty, but just like before the referee waves the claim away.
33' CLOSE! Coman's shot stopped by Olympiakos keeper
Coman makes a darting run into the box from the right wing and drills his shot across goal, looking for the far corner. Sa gets across his line and punches the effort over the crossbar.
45' CLOSE! Pavard hits the post
It's the closest Bayern have come after the corner is swung into the box and Pavard reacts quickest in the middle to get on the end of it. The goalkeeper is scrambling across his line, but Pavard's effort bounces back off the woodwork.
48' Goretzka's header stopped by Olympiakos keeper
Kimmich's free-kick on the right is flicked on by Lewandowski at the near post to Goretzka. He gets there ahead of his defender and heads his effort on target, but Sa gets both hands to it to punch it away.

They break quickly on the counter-attack and yet again Coman is involved down the right. He squares his cross into the box and Lewandowski gets just enough on the ball to turn it past Sa at his near post.
70' Coman almost catches the vicious cross in box
It's a brilliant cross that's fizzed across the six-yard box from Gnabry and Coman is running onto it at the far post. He can't get enough contact on the ball to get it on target though and it rolls out of play.

He's only been on the field for a few seconds and he's doubled Bayern's lead! He wasn't picked up at the far post when Coman's deflected cross falls to him and he fires his shot over the keeper and into the roof of the net.
