Barcelona fans have marvelled at Robert Lewandowski 'ripped' physique after the LaLiga leaders posted a photo of the Poland star in training.

The Catalan club tweeted a shocked face with the captain 'beast mode' to accompany the picture of the forward.

Fans were quick to comment on Lewandowski's physical condition, with noting his considerable arm and leg muscles.

'Gracious God, see his muscle definition,' one fan tweeted.

'Let's shoot some goals with those muscles,' another posted. A third posted 'Lewandowski is built different.'

Some fans also pointed to Lewandowski's history at Bayern Munich, with the striker having joined Barcelona after eight years with the perennial German champions.

One supporter posted 'Bayern need to release their gym programme', in an apparent reference to Lewandowski's former team-mate Leon Goretzka, who infamously packed on the muscle in a short space of time in 2021.

Another posted 'since when do we do muscles in this club. Need Pedri to transform next'.

Lewandowski currently leads the LaLiga goalscoring charts with the forward having netted 17 this season, three clear of Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.

The Polish forward is on course to claim the Pichichi Trophy, which is awarded to the top scorer in the division at the end of the season.

Lewandowski’s debut season with Barcelona has seen the forward score 27 goals in 37 matches in all competitions, although he has found the net just four times in the league since the World Cup.

The 34-year-old's contribution looks set to help Barcelona win LaLiga for the first time since 2019.

Barcelona have an 11-point advantage over Real Madrid with just nine league matches remaining this season.

A first LaLiga title would be the 12 league winners medal Lewandowski would have earned in his career, following success at Lech Poznan, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
