Benjamin Mendy will face no action from Manchester City as he did not break club rules when spotted out partying in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The 24-year-old, who has played just once since November, was not named in Pep Guardiola’s travelling squad to Fulham later that day.
He did, however, have a training session at the City Football Academy after being snapped on video at Manchester’s Club Liv at 3:30am.
Mendy, whose long-term future at the Etihad Stadium is in doubt, did not break any curfews and City say they are relaxed about his late-night escapades.
The France international has been training for a number of weeks following persistent knee injuries and completed the training session on Saturday.
Mendy’s only minutes since suffering an injury after a win over Manchester United more than five months ago came as a substitute away at Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup semi-final dead rubber.
He infuriated Guardiola in September by turning up late for a rehabilitation session following a trip to Wembley to watch Anthony Joshua’s world title fight against Alexander Povetkin.
Mendy was told to stay away from the first team for the remainder of that week, with City still looking at potential left backs to sign this summer.
