Bournemouth are working on a deal for former Manchester City striker Enes Unal, who is currently at Getafe.

The Turkey international signed for City in the summer of 2015 from Bursaspor, but spent the next two years on loan at Genk in Belgium and then at NAC Breda and Twente in the Eredivisie.

Unal left City in the summer of 2017, joining Villarreal in a £12million deal.

The 26-year-old has scored 36 goals in all 109 games in all competitions since joining Getafe in 2020 and only returned to action last month after missing the first half of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

If the Cherries can complete a signing before tonight's deadline, then Kieffer Moore will likely go to Ipswich Town.

Sunderland have also asked about the 31-year-old, who has scored twice in 13 appearances in all competitions this season.
