Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams gave his dad a birthday to remember by treating him to a new £40,000 car.
The 19-year-old defender has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford, playing 26 times in all competitions after being given a chance by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And after being rewarded with a new contract - reportedly worth £40,000 a week- last October, generous Williams spent a significant chunk of his pay packet to thank his dad.
In footage shared to social media on Thursday, the left back is seen handing over the keys to a black Mercedes 4x4, much to the shock of his dad.
The short clip begins with Williams' father making his way out to the street and spotting the new car parked in front of him as family and friends shout 'happy birthday!'.
He points at the shiny Mercedes and asks: 'That one? Seriously? I've gone all shaky.'
Williams, whose mother runs a cafe in Manchester's Harpurhey Market, then walks towards him and passes his dad the keys.
His dad says: 'Are you joking me? Are you taking the p***?!', before Williams tells him: 'No, go check it out'.
The heartwarming clip was shared by Twitter account @utdreport on Thursday and quickly went viral with over 7,500 retweets and 58,000 likes.
Williams previously revealed that his family didn't believe him when he was called up to the first team squad for a Champions League trip to PSG last season.
'It was just excitement. I rang my family straight away, but they didn't believe me!' he said.'I had to convince them and then I had to go and get my suit and get ready.
'It was my first time travelling with the first team, so I didn't know until about three hours before the flight. It was something new, something different for me.
'I was seeing everyone up close, seeing how they prepare for games, and seeing it up close, I'd never seen Man United before so it was a special night.'
