Chelsea stars take in sights of Istanbul & look to bounce back from Man Utd loss

Chelsea players enjoyed a stroll in the Istanbul sunshine on Tuesday morning as they prepare to face Liverpool in Wednesday's Super Cup final.

The Blues were beaten 4-0 by Manchester United in their first Premier League game of the season on Sunday and will hope to bounce back against the Reds.

Despite that result there were smiles on the faces of Chelsea players as they stretched their legs after landing in Turkey.

N'Golo Kante, who is approaching full fitness after starting Sunday's game on the bench, looked in good spirits and could be named in the starting XI.

Wednesday's game could be viewed as a distraction with another tough Premier League clash on the horizon against Leicester City next weekend.

However, Lampard is adamant the club are 'desperate' to lift the trophy, which pits last season's Europa League winners against the Champions League holders.

The 41-year-old played in two Super Cup finals as a Chelsea player in 2012 and 2013, but was on the losing side on both occasions - something he is keen to change as a manager.

'It's a cup that the club desperately wants to win,' he told Uefa.com 'I've never won it, a lot of players in there have never won it, so we have to give it everything.

'Every player in there needs to be aware of the importance of the game to this club and we have to give everything, because it's going to be tough.'

Winning will be no easy feat against a Liverpool side who thrashed newly-promoted Norwich 5-1 on Friday night.
