France star Eduardo Camavinga said he 'will not wash' Cristiano Ronaldo's shirt after he was handed it after their 0-0 draw with Portugal.

The Rennes star, who is catching the eye of Europe's elite, was left on the bench as Ronaldo played all 90 minutes of their Nations League bore draw.

Despite not facing up against the Juventus attacker, Camavinga appeared to make an impression on the five-time Balon d'Or winner who handed him his match shirt.

In the previous match of the international break, the 17-year-old scored a beautiful overhead kick in France's 7-1 victory over Ukraine.

After Sunday's draw with the Euro 2016 champions, Camavinga took to snapchat as he showed off Ronaldo's jersey.

And he captioned the pic: 'I won't wash it.'

Camavinga has been vocal about his desire to play for Real Madrid after idolising the Portugese talisman from his time at the Bernabeu.

The central midfielder looked to be on his way to Spain this summer, but Los Blancos decided to wait until they sign him due to the financial restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic.

It has been reported that Manchester United are now entering the race for Camavinga with some potency, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to replace Paul Pogba.
